Bob Christensen,
President of Roads2.Com, was born and raised in the Northwest region of the
United States. The love of mountains, passion for experiencing different
cultures, and travel have always been part of his life. Bob was an avid
rock climber in his early years, and loves to sail.
Bob traveled throughout the United States, Europe,
Canada, Mexico and has worked extensively in both North and South Asia.
His professional endeavors have always involved the global telecommunications
industry. Bob has a Master's degree in Urban Information Systems from the
University of Washington, Seattle.

Grace Guo is
the Roads2.Com Country Manager - China. She was born in Xi'an, the home
town of the world famous Terra-cotta Warriors. She received
her university degree in German, and began her career in the tourism
indsutry as a tour guide. During those years, Grace traveled
extensively including Tibet, the Silk Road, Yangtze and many other famous
destinations within China. In 2000, Grace moved to Beijing and
expanded her experiences to travel tour management. She prides herself in
providing travelers with reliable, professional and accurate
services.
Grace Guo has a lovely daughter, and enjoys spending time
with her family. She also likes movies, reading and
swimming. Grace has visited many countries in Europe, SE Asia
and South Africa. Beyond Mandarin and English, Grace speaks fluent German
and 'Schwitzdutch'.
..... we arrived.... first day to Tian'anmen
Square, the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace, the Hutongs ..... wow....ended
the day with a Peking Duck Dinner.....
..... Ren and I found a
small local restauant just off Nanjing Road in Shanghai ..... first
time to have thin sliced raw lobster cooked in hot
water.... tasty sauces..... and the rest of the meal was all new to us as
well..... don't think we will find that menu selection in Kansas
City.....
..... this China tour went like clockwork ..... well-organized
..... scheduled time in Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an and Hong Kong
with time to explore each day on Roads2.Com 'free-style free-time'
.....
..... our son and daughter-in-law will always remember hearing
the old man in Guilin tell the tale of the nearby peaks
as seven stars in the north sky falling down to
earth......
.... the Yangtze River is so impressive ..... third
longest waterway in the world ..... the world's largest lydroelectric
project and the Three Gorges Dam .... magnificent gorges..... mountain
landscapes .....Yichang..... Chongquing
......
..... Shanghai glows with neon lights every
night ..... always with a sense of fashion ..... simply wonderful food
..... the Bund for an evening
stroll....
..... after enjoying Hong Kong, Judy and
I jumped on a hydrofoil and walked the winding street in Macau .....
that famous Portuguese destination that returned home to China just as Hong
Kong.....
..... we are coming back to China..... next time to
experience and explore the Golden Silk Road .....this country has some much
history ..... and so much to see.....
