The founders of Roads2.Com worked and traveled throughout the world for over 30 years. And during that time, they were involved with infrastructure projects in many industries.   Beyond  their varied professional experiences was the broad exposure, understanding and appreciation of many cultures, each with its own unique contrasts and beauty.  The 'vision' of Roads2.Com is to share their experiences and lifelong memories with a 'boutique-style' of travel.

There are three scheduled Roads2China tours at this time.  All tours include
Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong.  Tour 1 takes the travelers to Xi'an, the 1000 year-old ancient capital of China and end-point of the Silk Road.   Guilin and it's misty limestone hills are included in Tour 2.  And finally,  a Tour 3 journey on the third longest waterway in the world, the Yangtze, blends itself with China's imperial past and the changing face of 'New China'.

Each tour is a 'small group' of only 8 tour travelers.  Included is 'airfare' with departure and transit VIP airport 'lounge privileges', boutique hotel accommodations with 'breakfast', private ground transportation, one 'hosted dinner' surrounded by 'Chinese culture', and 'entrance fees' to all scheduled tour sights.  Assistance in arranging Roads2.Com's daily 'free-style free-time' to explore non-scheduled tour sights is provided.

Each Roads2.Com tour is managed by a
local in-country Manager.  All licensed, native speaking tour guides are fluent in English.

Additionally, a 'Design-Your-Tour' can be arranged for just you,  a special family occasion, or a group of friends.

China - Land of Ancient Legends - Land of Dynasties .....

China, with a recorded history of 5,000 years, was one of the world's earliest cvilizations.  It is the most populous country in the world, and third largest in geographic area.  China has shared borders for centuries with Korea, the Soviet Union, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Sikkim, Bhutan, Burma, Laos and Vietnam.

China is a multi-racial country, with the Han nationality representing over 90% of the population.  Spoken languages are Mandarin and over 50 other dialects.  As a written language, Chinese has been used for 6,000 years.

Beijing, the present heart of China, is a city rich in the remnants of China's imperial past, which you sense from the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, The Great Wall, and the fast-disappearing Hutongs.

The ancient capital for more than 1000 years, Xi'an is one of the first cultural cradles of China.  It was an end-point of the Silk Road, and the famous Terracotta Soldiers still stand guard over Qin Shihuang's tomb.  Shanghai is China's most dynamic and vibrant city often called 'Paris in the East'.  It is here that one finds the Bund, Nanjing Road and Pudong.

Guilin and the Li River reveal the misty, memorable limestone hills.  The peaks of Mountain Qixing are part of the tale of seven stars in the north sky falling down to the earth.   Hong Kong, the 'city of active' has recently come home to China with its Victoria Peak, Kowloon, Star Ferry, the tranquil fishing village of Abeerden, and beautiful Repulse Bay.

The Yangtze River is longest river in China, and third longest in the world.  It is on this river that one finds The Three Gorges, Qutang Wu, Yichang, Chongqing Dazu, and Xiling Gorge.  There are many of destinations that highlight China including Yangshuo, Luoyang, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Wuxi, Suzhou, the exotic images of the Silk Road, and the ethnic minority cultures in the southwest part of the country.

China is forever linked to its ancient civilization,  friendly people, and many of the world's most revered treasures.

China    is truly the Land of Ancient Legends and the Land of Dynasties.
